From the artist: "The camera is what allows me to truly look at my fellow humans and I can't help but want to take something of their individual beauty and uniqueness with me. This drive has taken me all over the country this last decade searching for the people who make up the masses of Americans. Inspired by August Sander's monumental survey "People of the 20th Century" and Diane Arbus's butterfly collection of outsiders and peculiar people, I hope to do my part to add another chapter to the great portrait book of humanity".
