Nation of Ulysses backstage at CBGB in the early 90's just before they played. It was all very rushed and I hit the end of the roll after a few shots. They were rushing to go on so I tried to quickly reload a new roll, but had not actually rewound the one that was in the camera (sometimes you can use the rewind mechanism and think you've rewound but it didn't catch) and i flashed the roll with light when I opened it ruining almost all of the ones I had shot. This was one of the few to survive the flashing. It's still one of my favorite images because it caught just a bit of their manic energy.
